Have your say on proposed Digital Identity legislation

The Digital Transformation Agency (DTA) is seeking the public’s views on proposed legislation that will support an expanded Digital Identity system in Australia.

The legislation aims to establish permanent governance arrangements and further enhance existing privacy and consumer safeguards for the Digital Identity system.

  • Digital Identity Legislation Consultation Paper [PDF download] [online] contains details on a range of issues relating to the proposed Digital Identity legislation


How to make a submission

You will need to register first.

You can then make a submission by:

  1. completing an online submission form, which is a quick and easy way to provide your feedback
  2. uploading a submission in PDF or Word format, in response to the consultation paper
